La chaleur en été à Nanjing est très souvent insoutenable. Mauvaise nouvelle, le changement climatique ne fait que commencer et la Chine ne fait pas exception, entre-autre à cause du nombre élevé de la population, des nombreuses usines et des constructions incessantes laissant place à des particules toujours en supent.

Afin d’illustrer l’article d’alerte intitulé « Heat Wave » du magazine indépendant pour expatriés, le Nanjinger, j’ai peint une scène apocalyptique, désertique avec un horizon de ville floue et en premier plan, la représentation d’un vautour agonisant aux côtés d’un squelette.
